Silverdale Schools commenced operation in 2005 with a clear and singular aim: to bring uniqueness into the educational sector. We set out to present unique opportunities for students to grow confidently and securely in a happy environment where they are groomed to aim high and aspire for greatness.
Today, Silverdale Schools Lagos comprises fully equipped, co-educational early years divisions, elementary schools, and high school sections. We stand as a testament to educational quality, offering a holistic environment that balances academic rigor with moral excellence and practical life skills.

Mrs. Chinemelum Adaora Okonkwo
Head of School, Legal Practitioner & Advocate for Quality Education
Mrs. Chinemelum Adaora Okonkwo is a visionary and transformational educational leader, legal practitioner, and passionate advocate for quality education. She serves as the Head of School where she leads the strategic transformation of teaching, learning, and school culture through innovation, excellence, strong values, and student-centered leadership.
Having experienced the benefits of a sound educational foundation, Mrs. Okonkwo is an alumna of Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls. She subsequently attended Igbinedion University, Okada, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2013. Following her legal studies, she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 and has built over twelve years of experience as a legal practitioner.
Driven by her conviction that every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential, she expanded her professional expertise by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and becoming a certified member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has since gained valuable experience in the education sector and has dedicated herself to improving learning outcomes for young people.
As a second-generation leader of the family-founded institution, Mrs. Okonkwo has led the strategic transformation of Silverdale High School, introducing initiatives designed to align the school with global best practices while preserving a strong culture of excellence, discipline, and character development.

With her unique blend of legal expertise, educational leadership, and dedication to youth development, Mrs. Okonkwo continues to drive the vision of Silverdale High School as a center of excellence committed to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
Mrs. Okonkwo is married and a proud mother of two daughters.

Mr. Gbenga Olesin

Mr. Gbenga Olesin is a distinguished and exceptional educationist who consistently exemplifies excellence in all he does. An alumnus of Lagos Baptist Academy, Obanikoro (Class of 1991), he earned his National Certificate in Education (NCE) in History/CRS from the College of Education, Osun State in 1996. He later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in History and International Studies from Lagos State University, Ojo (2002) and a Master’s Degree in History and Diplomacy (2012). Driven by his passion for guiding youth, he further obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Christ International Divinity College in 2022, affiliated with Acadia University, Canada. Mr. Olesin remains dedicated to instilling quality education, refined discipline, and godly values in every student as School Supervisor.
Mrs. Nzewi Blessing

As Head Teacher, Mrs. Nzewi Blessing provides the strategic leadership, educational vision, and pastoral care that define our school culture. With years of experience guiding young learners, she is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards while cultivating a warm, inclusive community. Mrs. Blessing works closely with staff, parents, and pupils to ensure our school remains a safe haven where children grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.
Mrs. Akhrebhu
Assistant Head Teacher & Upper Primary Supervisor

Mrs. Akhrebhu serves dual roles as Assistant Head Teacher and Upper Primary Supervisor. She oversees the academic progression and personal development of our older primary pupils, ensuring they build strong study habits, resilience, and leadership skills as they prepare for secondary education. Working alongside the Head Teacher, she helps steer school-wide policy, teaching standards, and staff mentorship.

Miss Ayantuga
Supervisor — Nursery & Reception

Miss Ayantuga leads our Early Years department, overseeing the critical first steps of our pupils’ learning journeys. She specializes in early childhood development, creating play-based, engaging environments where Nursery and Reception children build foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Her gentle approach ensures our youngest learners feel secure and excited about coming to school each day.
Mrs. Ebekuru
Lower Primary Supervisor

Mrs. Ebekuru oversees the Lower Primary section, guiding children as they transition from early years into structured primary education. She focuses on strengthening core competencies in reading, writing, and mathematics while encouraging independent thinking and positive social behavior. Mrs. Ebekuru works closely with teachers and parents to ensure every child builds a rock-solid foundation for future learning.
