Silverdale Schools commenced operation in 2005 with a clear and singular aim: to bring uniqueness into the educational sector. We set out to present unique opportunities for students to grow confidently and securely in a happy environment where they are groomed to aim high and aspire for greatness.
Today, Silverdale Schools Lagos comprises fully equipped, co-educational early years divisions, elementary schools, and high school sections. We stand as a testament to educational quality, offering a holistic environment that balances academic rigor with moral excellence and practical life skills.

Mrs. Chinemelum Adaora Okonkwo
Head of School, Legal Practitioner & Advocate for Quality Education
Mrs. Chinemelum Adaora Okonkwo is a visionary and transformational educational leader, legal practitioner, and passionate advocate for quality education. She serves as the Head of School where she leads the strategic transformation of teaching, learning, and school culture through innovation, excellence, strong values, and student-centered leadership.
Having experienced the benefits of a sound educational foundation, Mrs. Okonkwo is an alumna of Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls. She subsequently attended Igbinedion University, Okada, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2013. Following her legal studies, she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 and has built over twelve years of experience as a legal practitioner.
Driven by her conviction that every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential, she expanded her professional expertise by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and becoming a certified member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has since gained valuable experience in the education sector and has dedicated herself to improving learning outcomes for young people.
As a second-generation leader of the family-founded institution, Mrs. Okonkwo has led the strategic transformation of Silverdale High School, introducing initiatives designed to align the school with global best practices while preserving a strong culture of excellence, discipline, and character development.

With her unique blend of legal expertise, educational leadership, and dedication to youth development, Mrs. Okonkwo continues to drive the vision of Silverdale High School as a center of excellence committed to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
Mrs. Okonkwo is married and a proud mother of two daughters.
